Roger Cox

Founder & Creator

Roger is the creative force behind VIM and an acknowledged leader in the sign industry. In 1989 he founded House of Signs in Frisco, Colorado and over the next 29 years built an internationally recognized business by creating highly distinctive 3-dimensional sign-art projects to businesses and residences worldwide.

“Building meaningful relationships and making a positive difference through our work is what inspires me the most”.

Roger has authored countless articles in industry publications and his award-winning work has been featured on the cover of virtually every trade magazine, along with over 50 industry awards for superior design and fabrication of signage related projects. His expert knowledge of creative design, historical preservation, code compliance, materials, engineering and combining cutting-edge technology with traditional hand craftsmanship puts VIM in a league of its own.

In 2018, Roger sold the House of Signs enterprise and relocated to Hawaii and Montana. After taking a 5-year sabbatical to pursue other creative interests and enjoy family time with his wife and twin daughters, a new venture VIM Creative Studio has launched with its main location located in the Capital city of Montana and a satellite office in Kauai.

“The past 5 years away from the sign industry has given me an even greater appreciation of the significance of well executed and authentic visual communications, and how it positively affects the marketplace and guest experience. I couldn’t be more excited to bring new ideas to life and create your next project.  I am therefore brimming with energy and enthusiasm, which is the true definition of VIM and describes my spirit perfectly.”
